July 25 2014: I have the honor of having two recently commissioned songs of mine "Brown Mouse" and "What If" by the Regent Park School of Music being performed tonight at the Canadian Music Centre's National Office in Toronto. This community initiative was made possible through the Brock Foundation's generous financial help. This project commissioned Dean Burry, Brian Current, Juliet Palmer and I to compose pieces for Piano and singers, with the poetry that the students of the school had created. These pieces were workshopped and rehearsed by the help of the coaches in the school, and will receive two performances in the next few days in Toronto.
This collection of songs will be published under the Canadian music Centre's Publication.
